Equipment

  • Liquid Food Coloring (We used McCormick neon food coloring)
  • Shaving Cream
  • Toothpick
  • Hard Boiled Eggs, room temperature (You also make hard boiled eggs in the oven)
  • Rubber gloves
  • Paper Towel

Instructions

  • Spray shaving cream onto a shallow mixing bowl or disposable pan.
  • Drip food coloring on top of the shaving cream in the color combination of your choice. Use a toothpick to swirl the colors in the shaving cream.
  • With glove covered hands, carefully roll an egg into the food coloring and shaving cream mixture and place onto an egg carton to set. Repeat for the desired number of eggs.
  • Let eggs set. I let mine set about 2 hours. Cover your hands with gloves again and use paper towel to gently wipe away the shaving cream.
