Easy Homemade Playdough

Materials
- 1 Cup Flour
- ½ Cup Salt
- 2 tsp Cream of Tartar
- 1 Cup Water
- 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
- Food Coloring Optional but adds even more fun
Instructions
- Step 1. Grab your saucepan or large pot and start placing all of your ingredients in. Place the all purpose flour and other dry ingredients, water and vegetable oil and mix the ingredients well.
- Step 2. Place on the stove on a low temperature and continue stirring with a wooden spoon until the sides start un-sticking from the pan. Do not boil.
- Step 3. Now is the time to add in the drops of food coloring to the mixture. I added in about 15 drops because I wanted my playdough to be really vibrant.
- Step 4. Stir all the food coloring in and wait for the liquid to turn into a dough ball consistency.
- Step 5. Once the cooking process is complete, remove from the pan and lay on foil or wax paper to dry for about 5 minutes. Kneading the dough as needed until the correct texture.

Notes
Put the playdough inside airtight containers when you aren't using.
