DIY Unicorn Pencil Holder

Equipment

  • Empty Can - Label removed and washed - I used an empty soup can.
  • White Construction Paper
  • Glitter Foam Paper or Paper
  • Fake Flowers - I used pink but use your favorite colors
  • Black Sharpie or Marker
  • *All supplies were found and purchased at the local dollar store.

Instructions

  • Cut the white construction paper to fit perfect around the outside of the can.
  • Secure the paper to the can with a hot glue gun.
  • Next cut out a triangle from the glitter foam paper to create your unicorn horn (the base is 2 inches and the sides are both 4 inches) and cut the flowers off the stems.
  • Glue the unicorn horn onto the front of the can.  I glued mine approximately 2 inches from the top of the can.
  • Glue the flowers at the base of the unicorn horn.
  • Then with the sharpie draw your favorite unicorn eyes.  We love using simple ones with delicate eye lashes! Just do what you prefer!
