Materials

  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Fractionated Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 cup Hot Water

Instructions

How to make sea salt spray:

  • In a glass dish, heat the water until hot but not boiling.
  • Mix in the sea salt and coconut oil until they are combined and the sea salt has dissolved.  Use a small funnel to put the mix into the 4 oz spray bottle.

How to use homemade sea salt hair spray:

  • Spray the diy sea salt spray on damp hair or dry to create additional texture. You can also add 3 drops of your favorite essential oil to this spray to add your favorite aroma. Also, epsom salt will work as well.

How to store sea salt hair spray diy:

  • I like to use 4 oz spray bottles to put the sea salt spray in. It’s so handy and the perfect size for home and on the go.
  • You can also purchase a 4 oz glass spray bottle if you prefer. I like to use the glass bottles a home. I use the plastic bottles for traveling.
