First put the white glue in a medium size mixing bowl.

*Pro Tip: You can add food coloring to the glue at this point if you prefer.  Pink or Blue would be adorable.

Then slowly add in the liquid starch and stir until the slime starts to form. You want the slime to be stickier then normal to hold the foam beads so do not over activate the slime by adding too much liquid starch at this time.

Next mix in the of foam beads.  We added approximately 1 cup but you can add more if you would like.  This is the fun part so allow the kids to add however much they want to create their own unique birthday cake slime.

Then continue to stir in the foam beads.  Once the glue starts pulling away from the edge of the bowl and sticking to the spoon, remove the slime from the mixing bowl and mix with your hands.
